Paris City Pass

Paris City Pass

Paris has two city pass options worth comparing – the Go City All-Inclusive Pass and the Go City Explorer Pass. This page covers what each one includes, how they're priced, what's not covered, and how to decide which is right for your trip.

Everything in the pass

What's included

Go City All-Inclusive Pass

Access to 55+ museums and attractions on consecutive days. Available in 1 to 6-day options. Transport (metro, RER, bus) is included on 3-day and longer passes – not on 1 or 2-day options.

Go City Explorer Pass

Choose three to seven specific attractions from a curated list. Once activated, you have 30 days to use your choices. Better suited to travellers with a clear shortlist than those planning a museum-heavy itinerary.

Transport included (3-day passes and above)

The All-Inclusive 3, 4, and 6-day passes include a travel card for unlimited metro, RER, and bus travel in central Paris. The 1 and 2-day passes do not include transport.

Louvre and Eiffel Tower: check your pass type

Neither the Louvre nor the Eiffel Tower is included in the standard All-Inclusive Pass. Both are included in the All-Inclusive Plus variant, or can be chosen individually via the Explorer Pass.

Book ahead even with a pass

Timed-entry reservations are required for the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and Arc de Triomphe – even with a city pass. Book your slots at each venue's official site before you arrive.

Where to buy

Common questions

FAQs

Is the Paris city pass worth it?

Yes, if you're planning three or more paid attractions. A 3-day All-Inclusive pass at approximately €164 can cover €300+ in gate prices. One caveat: if you're an EU citizen under 26, most Paris museums are free for you – the pass only adds value for paid experiences like the Eiffel Tower, Seine cruise, and Hop-On Hop-Off bus.

Does the Paris city pass include the Louvre and Eiffel Tower?

Not automatically. The standard Go City All-Inclusive does not include the Louvre or Eiffel Tower. You'll need the All-Inclusive Plus variant, or you can select them individually via the Explorer Pass. Always check which pass type you're buying – these are the two attractions most visitors assume are covered.

What's the difference between the Paris city pass and the Paris Museum Pass?

The Paris Museum Pass covers museums only – no transport, no tours, no Eiffel Tower. The Go City city pass bundles museums with the Eiffel Tower, river cruises, tours, and (on 3-day+ options) transport. If your priority is museums across multiple days, the Paris Museum Pass is cheaper. If you want a broader mix of experiences, the city pass wins.
