Valencia City Pass

One pass. Unlimited city.

The Valencia Tourist Card is the city's only all-in-one pass, combining unlimited public transport with free entry to 14 municipal museums and discounts at major paid attractions. This page covers what the card includes, what it does not cover, and which duration makes sense depending on how long you are staying and how much you plan to move around.

What's included

Valencia Tourist Card – 72 hours

The flagship option at €25 (around €22.50 online). Includes unlimited transport on all urban modes, free entry to 14 municipal museums, and discounts at major paid attractions. Valid from first use.

Combo bundle – 72h card + attractions

A combined ticket covering the 72h card, Oceanogràfic, Museu de les Ciències, and Hemisfèric from €69.98. This is the only way to get the Oceanogràfic effectively 'included' – the standalone card only gives 10% off.

Unlimited transport on all modes

All 24h, 48h, and 72h card versions include unlimited EMT buses, Metrovalencia metro, tram, and Cercanías commuter trains within zones A–B. The Line 4 tram to La Malvarrosa beach and metro lines to the airport are both included.

Oceanogràfic – 10% discount (or full via combo)

Europe's largest aquarium (standard adult ticket €33.70) is discounted 10% with the standard Tourist Card. Buy the 72h combo bundle (from €69.98) to include it fully alongside the Science Museum and Hemisfèric.

City of Arts and Sciences – discounted, not free

The Museu de les Ciències (15% discount) and Hemisfèric are discounted with the Tourist Card but not free – only the combo bundle converts them to an included entry. The soaring Calatrava architecture itself is free to view from outside.

Where to buy

Buy for approximately 10% off the gate price. Also available at Valencia Airport on arrival, at city tourist offices, and on GetYourGuide and Hellotickets. Do not activate the card on a Sunday – many municipal museums are already free that day.

Common questions

FAQs

Is the Valencia Tourist Card worth it?

It is worth it if you are using public transport at least three times a day and visiting two or three paid venues. At €25 for 72 hours, the transport savings alone can justify the cost versus buying SUMA 10 top-up cards. It is less compelling if you are staying in the historic centre and plan to walk everywhere – many included museums (Museo de Bellas Artes, La Lonja on Sundays) are free without a card. The 72h combo bundle (card + Oceanogràfic + Science Museum + Hemisfèric, from €69.98) is the best-value option if those three venues are in your itinerary.

Does the Valencia City Card include the Oceanogràfic?

Not with a standard card. The Oceanogràfic (€33.70 adult, Europe's largest aquarium) is one of the most popular attractions in Valencia but is only 10% discounted with the Tourist Card – not free. To get effectively 'free' access, you need the 72h combo bundle, which starts at €69.98 and includes the Oceanogràfic, Museu de les Ciències, and Hemisfèric alongside the card. If you plan to visit all three, the bundle works out significantly cheaper than buying everything separately.

How does the Valencia Tourist Card compare to buying tickets individually?

For transport-heavy trips, the card wins easily – three metro/tram journeys per day at €1.50 each adds up to €4.50 daily, versus €25 for 72 hours of unlimited travel. For museum access, the case is weaker: the Museo de Bellas Artes is permanently free, La Lonja is free on Sundays, and individual entry to towers and monuments is €2–€9. The card pays off when you combine transport use with visits to three or four paid venues in 48–72 hours. Buy online for around 10% off.
